Logo Design and Brand Identity Development

The story behind Miller Custom Fabrication is simple. The brand aims to provide quality fabricated pieces that offer unique, customized solutions. This brand utilizes design software so consumers can see finished pieces in their unique space before the building process ever begins which makes this brand’s process truely unique. These custom products include staircases, railings, gates, and more. 

The goal of this project was to develop a soft, yet masculine visual identity to connect with both its male and female clientel. Visual aspects were to demonstrate the nature of the work and the precision it takes to develop and produce its quality customized products.

Project goals and design direction were determined before the start of the design project through interviews and strategically designed questionnaires to determine clear goals and outcomes for the project. This information was then used to determine a strategic design direction based on the client’s needs and long-term goals. These initial steps helped to clearly define the scope of the project and to maintain project focus to ensure all deadlines and goals were effectively met.

Clean, smooth lines were mixed with rustic design elements to demonstrate a sense of rugged work mixed with a clean and polished final product. This vintage style mixed with softer tones was created to display a quality brand that can be enjoyed by middle-class consumers, along with wealthy-class consumers of all ages.

These visual elements were then used to create and develop other brand visuals to be displayed throughout other marketing materials so that consumers see a consistent and professional brand image.
